Anime Group Names for Watch Parties, Manga Clubs, and Friends

Your anime group probably does not need to sound like a knockoff villain organization from a series everyone has already seen.

These names are for watch parties, fan clubs, convention friends, manga readers, gaming groups, and chats, with anime-flavored ideas that do not simply borrow protected character, franchise, or organization names.

Anime group names I'd save first

  • Next Episode Society: My favorite for a watch group because it sounds natural and instantly fits.
  • Opening Theme Club: Perfect for fans who never skip the intro.
  • Subtitles after Seven: A fun recurring watch-night name.
  • The Manga Shelf: Clean and useful for a mixed anime-and-manga group.
  • Convention Weekend Crew: Great for friends whose group becomes most active around events.

Make the fandom reference yours

If your group revolves around one specific series, an inside joke from your own watch nights will usually feel more personal than copying a canonical faction or character name directly.

I'd choose Next Episode Society for a lasting club and The Filler Arc Committee for friends who have spent far too much time debating what can safely be skipped.
