How to choose a Christian group name

Match the name to the group's real purpose and your church's own language. A Bible study, youth ministry, prayer circle, outreach team, and young-adult social group should not sound interchangeable.

If the group belongs to a church or ministry, I would also make sure leaders are comfortable with the name before putting it on public pages or printed materials.

What I would choose

Open Table is my favorite for a small group because it feels welcoming without being vague. Faith in Practice is strongest for service, while Rooted Together fits a Bible study or community group beautifully.
